He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Wright and Mary Wright; his siblings, Roy Wright, Shirley Wright, Billy Joe Wright, Jerry Wright, Don Wright and Larry Wright; and his granddaughter Megan Edmonds.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wright of Ledbetter; his children, Rhonda Wright of Humboldt, TN, Pam Wright of Paducah, Randy Wright of Smithland and Sharon Wright of Madisonville; and his brother Tommy Wright of Union City, TN. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
