He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydge Herbert Sharp and Bonnie Blankenship Sharp; and his brother Floyd Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Norma Sharp of Ledbetter; his son James Sharp II (Catherine) of Birdsville; his siblings, Roy Reed (Constance) of Paducah and Ella Smith of Smithland; and his grandsons, Jacob Sharp of Birdsville and Jesse Sharp of Birdsville.
