He was predeceased by: his father Roy A. Phillips, Sr.; his grandmother Hester Phillips; and his siblings, James Phillips, Henry Phillips, Roy Phillips, Alice Greenwell, Jenny Nelson and Hazel Osbourne.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Phillips of Ledbetter; his daughters, Wanda Paris, Sheila Goodaker (Darryl) of Smithland, Connie Monroe (Jimmy) of Smithland and Cindy Hodge of Ledbetter; and his sister Ann Pentecost of Springfield, Tennessee. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; his sixteen great grandchildren; and his three great-great grandchildren.
