She was predeceased by: her parents, James Louis and Sarah Elizabeth Edelen; her husband Joseph A. Gibson; her siblings, James Edelen and Betty Thurman; and her daughter Karen Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Glover (Jeff), Kathy Wylie (Melvin) and Russell; and her sister Margaret Bentley. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
