She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mansfield and Jean McDonald Mansfield; her husband Richard Benson; and her siblings, Scott Mansfield, Pam Mansfield and Martha Mansfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Bowen of Monticello and Heather Seagraves of Lebanon; and her siblings, Jean Mansfield, Ellen Savaria, Marty Wade, Paul Mansfield, Daria Mansfield and Joann Hoffman. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
