He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Thornton Payne and Betty Lee Yates Payne; his wife Dena Ann Payne; and his sister Dianne Neagle. He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Whisenhunt (James) of Lawrenceburg, Jennifer Osbourne (Greg) and Jackie Wooten (Steve) of St. Joe; his grandchildren, Ava Osbourne, Barrett Osbourne, Eli Whisenhunt and Evan Whisenhunt; his siblings, Linda Clarke (Marty) of Campbellsville, Curt Payne (Tammy) and Steve Payne of Lebanon; his brother-in-law Robert Neagle of Campbellsville; and his mother-in-law Mary Retha Myers Costello of St. Joe. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
