It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Davis of Lebanon, Kentucky, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davis and Pearline D. Flowers; his grandparents, Isaiah and Elder Rosa B. McCray; and his aunts and uncles, Rolen Davis (Lilly), Lugene McCray, Lindon McCray (Mendell), Jessie Mae McCray, Lois Alston, Laura Chandler and Debra McCray.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Davis of Lake City, SC and Melissa Davis of Hemingway, SC; his siblings, Henry Davis of Hemingway, SC, Anthony Davis of Manchester, TN, Derrick Williams of Miami, FL, Pearly Davis of Hemingway, SC, Peggy Davis of Marietta, GA and Mary Williams of Charlotte, NC; his aunt Rosa Cameron of Lake City, SC; and his uncles, Isaiah McCray (Betty) of Hemingway, SC, Rev. Willie Joe McCray (Vorene) of New York, NY, Ervin McCray (Tyka) of Milledgeville, GA, Deacon Harry McCrea of Scranton, SC, Lester McCray of Hemingway, SC and George McCray of Hemingway, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
