She was predeceased by: her parents, John Otha Shively and Mary Settie Brown Shively; her husband Ben S. Bland; her stepmother Lena Brown Shively; her brother Harold Shively (Mabel); her half-siblings, John Jimmy Shively (Josephine) and Theresa Lowe (Charles); her brother-in-law Cecil Cox; and her son-in-law Lonnie Burton.
She is survived by: her sister Matilda Cox; and her children, Karen Burton, Ricky Bland (Diane), Nancy Thomas, Settie Boeshart (Larry), Kevin Bland (Ronda), Lisa Brady (Larry), Anita Woford (Jim), Alice Graves (Terry) and John Bland (Cindy). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
