With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lora Jean Thompson of Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve May and Marguerite Wade May; and her grandchildren, Jalen and Kaden. She is survived by: her husband Billy Thompson; her sons, Jason David Thompson (Lauren) of Lexington and Nicholas Ryan Thompson (Ashley) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Jude and Finn Thompson; her siblings, Brenda Followell (Billy), Genny Mattingly (Joe Allen), Barbara Rucker (late Danny), Linda Crouch (Jackie), Wanda Hennon (Gordon) and Jimmy May (Joyce); and her in-laws, Jackie Craig (Joe Mark), Elaine Cecil (late Jim Bean) and Willard Thompson Jr. (Brenda Kay). She is also survived by extended family including numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A prayer was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
