He is survived by: his wife Mary Diana Mattingly Abell of Lebanon; his children, Shelly Nichols (Clayton) of Owensboro and Todd Abell (Raylyn) of Lebanon; his siblings, Shelia Rose Williams (Paul) of Mt. Washington, Libby Barlow (James) of Lebanon and Fowler Abell, Jr. (Martha) of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Alex Powell (Dustin), Zachary Abell, Cameron Nichols and Carter Nichols; and his great grandchild Levi Powell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
