Laura Etta Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 92, Laura Etta Smith of Lebanon, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henry and Carrie Mae Whitlock; her husband Richard Lee "Strike" Smith; her siblings, Almarine Hickey, Conway Whitlock, Jimmy Whitlock, Marcella Long and Delores Ann Whitlock; and her grandson Jake Maggard.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Bob Smith (Margaret), Dr. Ben Smith (Lyle), Carol Farmer (Tracy) of Midway, Janie McQueen (Bob) of Louisville and Laurie Maggard (Paul) of Atlanta; and her brother Robert Henry Whitlock, Jr. (Nancy) of Clearwater, FL.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy make take the form of contributions to St. Augustine Schools, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033.
