With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Wayne of Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Francis Wayne and Lida Hunt Wayne; his son Christopher Wayne; his stepson Ricky Anthony Mattingly; and his siblings, Dorothy Farmer Sagracy, JoAnn Wayne Sagracy, Leroy Wayne and Howard Wayne Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Mark Wayne (Mona), Jodie Wayne (Decora) and Carla Wayne; and his grandchildren, Justin Wayne, Nicole Boots (Michael), Addi Mattingly (Owen), CJ Wayne, Carly Jo Murphy, Jarrad Mattingly (Lillie), Eric Mattingly (Sanda) and Ashley Grimsley (Homer). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
