He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Williams and Althea Williams; and his sisters, Nancy Daugherty, Carlita Browning, Wanda Buckman and Sara Elder.

He is survived by: his wife Jewell Williams; his children, Ed Williams, Jr. (Tammy), Daryl Williams, Tim Williams (Michelle), Peggy Johnson (Gary) and Cindy Lampe (Kevin); and his siblings, Larry Williams (Beverly), Jeanie Daugherty, Suzanne Buckman (Ronald) and Eleanor Ann Caldwell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Green River, 462 N. Bypass Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
