It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Merdith Votaw of Lebanon, Kentucky, born in Washington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Stacy Jo Lawson; his parents, Hershel Votaw and Ressie Mae Harlow Votaw; and his brother-in-law Johnny Turner. He is survived by: his daughters, Ramona Lawson (Troy) of Loretto, Shelby Price (Terry) of Lebanon, Renee Nalley (Richie) of Bardstown and Meredith Lasure (Chris) of Bardstown; and his siblings, Helen Doris Turner of Mackville and Wallace Votaw (Gloria) of Crestwood. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
