With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burnam Johnnie Lanham Sr. of Lebanon, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Lanham and Ethel Lanham; his former wife Jean Lynch Lanham; his children, Jean Ann and Burnam Johnnie Lanham Jr. (BJ); his siblings, Porter, Buron, Baute Lanham and Helen Mays; and his grandson Matthew Gribbins.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Farmer Lanham of Lebanon; his children, Travis Lanham (Amie) of Lebanon, Susan Lanham (Kenny) of Campbellsville, Cathy Sapp (Mark) of Raywick, Michelle Gribbins and Michael Gribbins (Shelly) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Paul Jr., Danielle, Alisha, Jean'na, Alex, Taylor, Clayton, Hannah, Chloe, Jacob, Justin, Tiffany, Katie and Tyler; and his siblings, Floyd Ray Lanham of Bowling Green and Audrey Lanham Smothers of Louisville. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A masonic service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church (4430 State Hwy 289, Lebanon, KY 40033). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033).
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Muldraugh Hill Cemetery Fund, 4430 State Hwy 289, Lebanon, KY 40033, or the Marion County Handicap Association, 748 W. Main Street, Lebanon, KY 40033.
