He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clever Simpson and Sarah Ellen Simpson; and his grandson Owen Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Doris Carolyn Simpson of Lebanon; his daughters, Deborah Carolyn Thomas of Cincinnati, Brenda Joyce Settles of Bradfordsville and Lisa Ann Sanchez of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Brian Scott Settles, Bobby Joe Settles (Ginny), Brittany Leann Cross, David Thomas, Jr. and Holly Elizabeth Thomas. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
