She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ewing and Lucille Ewing (Bradshaw); her husband Jimmy Louis Mattingly; and her siblings, Lucy Ewing, Dorothy Buckler, Clarence Ewing Jr., Gerald Ewing, John Irvin Ewing and Melvin Ewing.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Mattingly (Faye) of Lebanon, Marty Mattingly (Trina) of Richmond, Jackie Byars (Wayne) of Kansas City and Jennifer Sympson (Jim) of Bardstown; and her siblings, Billy Ewing of Louisville, Glenn Ewing of Frankfort and Carol Craven of Louisville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (235 S Spalding Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033).
