He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Chester; his daughter Vivian Marie Veatch; his siblings, Charles Veatch, Linda Veatch and Alice Reynolds; and his pet Hummer.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Veatch of Lebanon; his sons, Michael Veatch (Ruby) of Lebanon and Dean Veatch (Friend-Susie Erhardt) of Lebanon; his siblings, David Veatch (Mary Frances) of St. Joe, Lloyd Veatch of Indiana, Mark Veatch (Sandy) of Shepherdsville and Marty Roberson (Chuck) of Mt. Washington; his grandchildren, Emily Wiser (Jimmy Dale) and T. J. Veatch; and his great grandchild Ruth Ellen Wiser.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus or to the St. Joe Cemetery Fund.
