She was predeceased by: her husband Granville Combs; her parents, JC Lucas and Edith Cundiff Gribbon; her sister Thelda Leigh Limer; and her grandsons, Justin Reynolds and Hunter Combs.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimbo" Cecil of Lebanon Junction, Velda Reynolds of Lebanon Junction and Terry Combs (Detra) of New Haven; and her grandchildren, Jason Reynolds, Jamie Reynolds, Sara Benningfield (Jason), Emily Shrout (Ryan), Cole Combs and Leah Comb. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all donations and gifts be made to the Alzheimers Association or Hosparus of Louisville on Velvas behalf.
