He is survived by: his wife Joan Amelia Abell Walker; and his children, Richard C. Walker, Jr. (Karla), John Elliott Walker (Tina), Owen Benjamin Walker (Jeannie), Dixie Ann Russavage and Elizabeth Jane Hall (Tony). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
