She was predeceased by: her husband John William Richardson; her sons, John Alan Richardson, Sr. and David "Sadie" Richardson; her grandchildren, Jason Tatum, Shauna Richardson and Niki Richardson; and her sister Bessie Vandiver.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Richardson (Reva), Albert Coffey, Vicki Bell (Frankie) and Elaine Polly (Mitchell). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
