She was predeceased by: her father Ned McCormick; her husband Don M. Haddox; her mother Mary Alma McCormick (Whalen); and her brothers, Edward Lee McCormick and Paul McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene House, David Searcy (Terri) and Lisa Rose (Bob); her grandchildren, Stephanie Searcy, Megan Burns (Wayne), Leachman House, David Searcy, Jr. (Angie), Roger Clark, II, Dylan Searcy (Ashley) and Lacie Smith (Michael); her siblings, Delores Ward (James), Charles McCormick (Jean) and Rosemary Rohe (Phil); and her pet Jet. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cave Hill Cemetery (401 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions in memory of Margaret be made to the funeral home to help with funeral cost.
