He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Vittitoe and Lila Ewing Vittitoe; his siblings, Warden Vittitoe, Anna Mae Lucas and Lucille Vittitoe; his daughter Karin Miller; and his granddaughter Susan Hemmer.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Rita Sweat Vittitow; his children, Kim Smith (Bob), Kelly Tindle (Jerry), Johna Fortener (David), Drew Vittitow (Ashley) and Lesley Chadwell (Mike); and his siblings, Pauline Cornett, Dorothy Hicks, Elizabeth Burkhead and Roy Vittitoe, Jr.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
