She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Cooper Walker Sr.; her granddaughter Sarah Jo Walker; her great grandchild Mason Barnes; her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Ella Botto Elliott Abell; and her sister Martha May Abell.

She is survived by: her children, Richard C. Walker Jr. (Karla), John Elliott Walker (Tina), Owen Benjamin Walker (Jeannie), Dixie Ann Russavage and Elizabeth Jane Hall (Tony). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
