She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbin, Sr. Rudd and Christine Taulbee Rudd; her husband Harold Clay Smith; her great grandchild Wyatt Andrew Springston; and her nephew Nic Rudd.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Kirkwood (Donna) of Brandenburg, Kentucky and Christine Bailey (Timothy) of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky; her stepdaughters, Charlotte Hatton of Lee City and Mary Jo Gilliland (Ernie) of Somerset, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Chelsea Springston (Drew), Dena Smith (Duney), Joe Dodds, Brandon Sego (Megan), Jennifer Whitton, Tami Jo Leach (Jefferson), Clay Adkins (Jennifer), Christopher Adkins, Sammie Jo Harvey (Ashley), Jeffrey Whitton (Mia), Tyler Smith, Brittany Kelly (Randall), Olivia Bailey and Jessi Bailey; and her siblings, Jim Rudd of Campton, Orbin "Bub" Rudd, Jr. (Faye) of Means Kentucky and Garnette Spencer of Campton, Kentucky.. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
