He was predeceased by: his stepson David Tibbs; and his parents, Virgil Boblitt and Mary Ruth Thompson Boblitt. He is survived by: his sons, Damon Boblitt and Darrell Boblitt; his stepsons, Shawn Tibbs (Sherri) and James Hanson (Shannon); his daughters, Lynn Simpson (Tommy), Debbie Boblitt and Dana Boblitt (Greg); and his siblings, Donnie Boblitt, James (Ruth Ann), Wayne (Jean) and Lois Miracle (Clarence). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great granchildren.
