He is survived by: his wife Faye McCubbins Etherton; his children, Dale Etherton and Gale Lutes; his siblings, Clifford of Tommy, J. W., Roy, Stanley Etherton, Edna Simpson and Beverly Thurman; his grandchildren, Joshua Lee Etherton (Tabitha) and Taylor Danielle Lutes; and his great grandchildren, Beckett and Lena Etherton.
