He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lyvers and Mary Booth Lyvers; and his sister Sharon Gaskins. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Lyvers, Annette Lyvers, Janice Lyvers Wiseman and Sandra Hollaway. He is also survived by three nieces and four nephews.
