He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Underwood and Lela Skaggs Underwood; his wife Jane Underwood; his son Douglas Underwood; and his siblings, Otis Underwood, Blond Underwood, Dorothy Glidewell, Pauline Lemmon and Essie Perkins.
He is survived by: his grandson Zachary Underwood; and his sister-in-law Cleo Underwood of Campbellsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
