He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Byrd and Eva Pauline Breamer Byrd; his sons, Brenton T. Byrd and Eric R. Byrd; and his aunt Thelma Ruth Breamer.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Byrd; his children, Erin M. Byrd and Gregory E. Byrd; his grandchildren, Trent, Evan, Demi and Dalton; his siblings, Linda J. Sea, Johnny Byrd (Lisa) and Steve Byrd (Judy); and his brother-in-law Anthony W. Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and family and friends.
