He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Holbert and Edna Tinnell Holbert; his former wife Mary Lee Holbert; his wife Dinah Lynn Holbert; and his siblings, Will, Ed Holbert and Jeannie Waters.
He is survived by: his children, James Ardell Holbert, Terry Torres (Gerardo), Rebekah Luck, Faith Holbert, Tiffany Holbert and Stephanie Holbert; and his siblings, Danny Holbert and Gloria Dean Vise. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
