With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Paul Ritchey of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Ritchey and Mary Katherine Ritchey; his brother Eugene Ritchey; and his siblings-in-law, B. F. Carriss, Cecilia Ritchey and Pamela Ritchey.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Alice Franklin Ritchey; his children, Paul Douglas Ritchey (Nita) of Frankfort, Treva Joyce Bowles (David) of Lawrenceburg and Dana Diann Mehs (Steven) of Lawrenceburg; his siblings, Marvin Ritchey of Waddy, Jim Ritchey of Waddy, Lillie Mae Carriss of Waddy and Doris Ann Ritchey of Waddy; his grandchildren, Tiffany Joy Durham (Wylia) of Graefenburg, Ryan Andrew Bowles of Long Beach, CA, Julie Marie Bowles Mudd (Lee) of Lawrenceburg, Justin Nathaniel Mehs of Lawrenceburg and Caitlin Nicole Mehs Clemons (Shawn) of Lawrenceburg; his great grandchildren, Brandon Durham, Amber Durham, Jack Mudd and Alex Mudd; and his sister-in-law Penny Ritchey of Shelbyville.
