He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Roberta Chowning Jeffries; his parents, Ralph Thomas Jeffries and Margery America Hardin Jeffries; his daughter Tina Grigsby; his sisters, Louise Giles, Eva Haeberlin and Emma Waldridge; and his great grandchild Aiven Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Jeffries (Tanya) of Lawrenceburg, Theresa Partlow (WIlliam) of Lawrenceburg, Regina Taylor of Barbourville, Marjorie Best (Bobby) of Lawrenceburg, Ruth Stratton (Robert) of Lawrenceburg and Melissa Roberts (Glynn) of Lawrenceburg; and his son-in-law Greg Grigsby. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
