Walter left this world on February 21, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Carter and Mamie Gibson Carter. He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Oliver (Walter) of Lawrenceburg; his grandson Cory Allen Kane of Beaver Dam, KY; his brother Roy Carter; and his sister-in-law Virginia Carter of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (332 S Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location.
