It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Simpson of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, born in Versailles, Kentucky, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Luther Jones of Owenton and Vonda Carolyn Akins Ginger of Lawrenceburg; her former husband Ray Allen Elliott; her husband Barry Dean Simpson; her brother Tony Waylon Phillips; her nephew Cody Barrett Rucker; and her niece Chasity Hope Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Joshua Elliott (Nathan) of Cincinnati, OH, Anthony Simpson of Lawrenceburg, Vincent Elliott of Lawrenceburg, Nicholas Elliott of Lawrenceburg, Levi Simpson of Lawrenceburg, Lucas Simpson of Lawrenceburg and Brittany Lotz (Elliott) of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, Taryn Simpson and Marcus Lotz; her sisters, Scarlet Rucker (Tim) of Lawrenceburg and Shona Hibbs (Mike) of Lawrenceburg; and her mother-in-law Ann Buntain Simpson.
