She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herman and Ancel Miriam Allen (Aden); her sister Sue; her brother-in-law Pat Shugars; and her brother Chuck Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Richard D. "Dick" Hunsinger; her children, Julie Mink (Dick), Dan Hunsinger (Anne), Peter Hunsinger (Dimitra Pyrialakou) and Pat Hunsinger; and her grandchildren, Jack, Molly, Shane, Olivia and Nephele.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to Anderson County Backpack Buddies, Friends of the Anderson Public Library or Bluegrass Care Navigators in honor of Carol Hunsinger.
