He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goodlett and Pauline Perry Sims. He is survived by: his wife Janet Phillips Goodlett; his daughters, Laurie Goodlett (Jamie) of Lawrenceburg, Shannon Martens (Willy) of Lawrenceburg and Paige Brown (Scott) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Charles (Cassidy), Elizabeth and Joe; and his siblings, Barbara Pacey (Rick) of Burgin and Ronnie Goodlett (Teresa) of Versailles. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, dogs, and most recently being a Papaw to his grandchildren.
