It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orbrey H. Gritton Jr. (Lawrenceburg, Kentucky), who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbrey Hollis Gritton, Sr. and Margie Myrtle White Gritton; and his siblings, Agnes Peach, Dorothy McMichael and Jesse G. "Bud" Gritton.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Thompson Gritton; his children, Sherrie Gritton Hall (Rickey) of Lawrenceburg and Orbrey H. Gritton, III (Denise) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Brittany Duvall (Dustin), Brandon Hall (Julia), Summer Cotton (Zachary), Christian Gritton (Caitlyn), Ariel Mills (Cory), Jake Gribbins (Joy), Cole Gribbins (Mahaley) and Erin Gribbins; his siblings, Linda Baxter, Larry Gritton (Linda) and Jerry Gritton (Judy); and his sister-in-law Drucilla Gritton of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
