It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mattie Pearl Bedford of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, born in Lebanon, Kentucky, who passed away on March 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Roy David Leffew; her husband William Henry Bedford; her grandson Ronald Kevin Hourigan; her parents, John Henry Elliott and Sarah Annie Hall Elliott; and her siblings, John Henry Elliott, William Lee Elliott, Franklin David Elliott, Charles Marvin "Buddy" Elliott, Hattie Frances Simpson, Lottie Mae Simpson, Rosa Corrine Akin, Dorothy Faye Mattingly, Anna Marilyn Armes and Carrie Lou Rhinehart.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Bedford (Robin) of Stamping Ground, KY, Terry Lee Bedford of Lawrenceburg, KY, Rebecca Ann Hourigan Tungate (Bud) of Lebanon, KY and Peggy Jo Warner of Lawrenceburg, KY; and her close friends, Vera Mae Boggs and Carol Mccullough. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 the funeral home is limited to 60% capacity.
