He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stratton and Eva Robinson Stratton; and his siblings, Edna McDowell, Robert Stratton, Goldie Kinder, Clinton Stratton, Coy Stratton, Roy Stratton, Walter Stratton, Joyce Stratton, Pauline Stratton, Lucille Stratton and Randall Garvice Stratton.

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Marie Warford (Davy) of Lawrenceburg, Timothy Darryl Stratton (Reva) of Lawrenceburg and Buford Lyons Disponett (Jayne) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tasha, Kesha, Kyle, Lance and Ashley; his brothers, Donnie Stratton (Gale) and Leon Stratton (Jean); and his sister-in-law Lavon Ruble Stratton. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
