He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus George Barnett and Ruby Mae Peach Barnett; his son Michael Barnett; and his siblings, Martha Monroe, Betty Barnett, Jake Barnett, Buddy Barnett and Scotty Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Hawkins, Lockie Dawson and Amanda Peyton; and his siblings, Juanita Stivers (Don), Lillian Rafferty (Ray), Glenna Sutherland (Don), Peggy Ervin (Ted), Carl Barnett (Rita), Charles Barnett (Pam) and Don Barnett. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
