John Small Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Small of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, born in Lovely, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boy Small and Maudie Small (Hale); his wife Delores "Jean" Small (Booth); and his brothers, Luther Small, Irvin Small, Sheridan Small, Warren G. Small and Reverend Jack Small.
He is survived by: his children, Linda S. McGinnis of Owensboro and Johnny Small (Bonnie) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Gwen R. Pinson of Lexington, David McGinnis (Stacey) of Chicago, IL, Alisha Gussler of Lexington and Mark McGinnis (Shanna) of Owensboro; his stepgranddaughters, Danielle McConnell (Matt) of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Walters (Matt) of Frankfort, Samantha Rogers of Lexington and Kelli Robinson of Paintsville; his sisters, Billie Jean Preece of Lovely and Ruby Mills of Tomahawk; and his former wife June Sammons of Beauty. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In response to the covid-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
