He was predeceased by: his parents, Fountain Hooper and Ida Lou Smith Hooper; his son James William Hooper Jr.; and his siblings, Billy Hooper, Johnny Hooper, Bobby Hooper and Judy Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Diana Harley Hooper; his daughter Haley Danielle Edwards (Heath) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Lea Anne Edwards, Aiden Edwards, Ashton Edwards, Zander Edwards and Jakob Edwards; his great grandchildren, Everlea Edwards and Karlee Edwards; his sisters, Wanda Hooper and Betty West (Doug); his parents-in-law, Jewel and Jennie Harley; and his brothers-in-law, Travis and Eddie Harley.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 111 Whitney Ave, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
