It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Lowery of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Harris and Stella Lanham Harris; her daughter Johnita Jan Lowery; and her brother Albert Lee Harris. She is survived by: her husband James Allen Lowery; her children, James Allen Lowery, II of Willisburg, Jason Franz Lowery of Lexington and Junisha Alene Lowery Callis of Lawrenceburg; her sisters, Stella Alene McClain of Georgetown and June Ann Kirkpatrick of Harrodsburg; her grandchildren, James Allen "Jamey" Lowery, III, Collin Dailey Lowery, Colton Prentice Callis, Shelby Annemarie Lowery and Jan Anniston Lowery; and her great grandchildren, Ember Rose Callis, Gabriel Brian Lowery, Maisie Lynn Lowery and Elijah Lowery. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home (701 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
