Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gertrude Smith leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnie Peach of Anderson County; her parents, Charley Smith and Edna Smith; her siblings, Welma Thomas (Junior), Wanda Kuddes (Harry) and Ralph Smith; and her brother-in-law Ben Taylor.
She is survived by: her sister Valeria Taylor; and her sister-in-law Sybil Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home (701 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
