He was predeceased by: his wife Marguerite Martin Collins; his parents, James David Collins and Nannie Rachael McBrayer Collins; and his siblings, Eleanor Collins, Agnes McBrayer of Hazel Boone, J. D, F. Dane Collins, Nannie Wallace Collins and Amy Stark Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Marilyn C. Horner (Lloyd); his grandsons, Shain Horne and Dustin Horne (Jamie); and his great grandchildren, Addison Horne of Cecilia, KY and Kaylee Horne of Cecilia, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
