It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eddie Doug Denton (Lawrenceburg, Kentucky), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Edward Lee Denton; and his grandson Matthew Mowdy. He is survived by: his mother Betty Marie Tipton Hicks; his wife Julia Denton; his daughters, Melanie Spears (Danny), Lorrie Rainwater (Brad) and Mandie Walker (Scott); his sister Tonia Lane (Larry); and his grandchildren, Megan, Austin, Madison, Dalton, Trevor, Jamie, Abram and Maddox. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Saffell House Funeral Home (340 S Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Doug Denton Funeral Service. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
