He is survived by: his wife Marsha Clarine Mays Mercer; his children, Tamara Cook (Tony) of Hustonville, KY, Maria Sierria Ruiz (Shewy) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Heather Harmon of Harrodsburg, KY, Sarah Mercer of Lawrenceburg, KY, Daniel Mercer of Lawrenceburg, KY and Leslianne Mercer of Florence, KY; his siblings, Joyce Shealy of Louisville, KY, Patty Stigall of Louisville, KY and Lloyd Elmer of Alaska; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Kendra, Jeremy, Erica, Madison, Jaime, Raul, Josue, Maria, Vicky, Maritza, Bernardo, Brianna and Maxim. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
