It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Boyd of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, born in Cotton Valley, Louisiana, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Eugene Boyd; and her parents, William Woods and Dorothy Powell Woods. She is survived by: her children, William Charles "Charlie" Boyd (Melissa) of Lawrenceburg and Tonya Ann Raikes (George) of Conway, Arkansas; and her sister Alma Alvarado of Lafayette, Indiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
