He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Toler Newsome; and his parents, Noah Newsome and Gertrude Tackett Newsome. He is survived by: his daughter Ann Harley (David) of Lawrenceburg; his nephew Chris Hobbs (Jamie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan Hobbs (Morgan) and Caitlin Hobbs; his sister Bobbie Hampton of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tabor, Frances Greer, Noah Newsome, Jr., Josephine Collins, Fred Newsome, Jimmy Newsome and Don Newsome; and also Owen Hobbs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
